Malaysia Jones, a dedicated Finance and Banking major with a 3.86 GPA at Virginia Union University, has cultivated a robust foundation in financial analysis, corporate finance, and strategic planning. As a Presidential Scholar, her academic journey is marked by a blend of excellence, leadership, and hands-on experience in the finance industry.

During the summer, she participated in the Nationwide Immersion Program through TMCF, gaining valuable insights into the insurance and financial services industry. Malaysia is set to intern with Nationwide in Summer 2025, where she will deepen her expertise in internal auditing and financial analysis. Currently, she serves as a Project Intern with Capital One’s Fall 2024 Project Destined Virtual Internship Program, further honing her analytical and investment skills. In addition, she is a UNCF Student Ambassador, actively raising awareness about scholarships and resources to support fellow students.

Her leadership extends beyond internships, as she actively participates in organizations such as Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., Sigma Nu Tau, and Delta Mu Delta Honor Societies. Malaysia has also engaged in multiple professional development programs, including the Goldman Sachs Emerging Leaders Series, Capital One’s BA Mini Mester, and TMCF x Sands Hospitality Immersion Program, where she developed skills in financial analysis, problem-solving, and strategic thinking.
