Morgan Williams

Morgan Williams is an experienced Senior Program Manager at the Financial Alliance for Racial Equity (FARE) applying her years of experience in consulting, higher education, and non-profit organizations. Previously she worked at RAMA Consulting, a Columbus-based performance management consulting firm specializing in Business Development, Employee Development, and Diversity and Cultural Competency. While at RAMA, Morgan oversaw the African American Leadership Academy (AALA) with sponsor relations, current Fellows and alumni engagement, advisory board support, and financial and budget management. She also supported diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) projects with strategic framework development, team development, and training/facilitation with organizations’ leadership teams and/ or staff.

Morgan spent five years in higher education serving underrepresented student communities as a Program Coordinator at Duke University’s Office of Access and Outreach and the Academic Resource Center, and then as an Academic Program Assistant at the University of Michigan’s Center for the Education of Women+.

Morgan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Socioeconomic Inequality in Latin America from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service. She also completed her Master’s in Diversity and Social Justice in Higher Education from the University of Michigan’s Center for the Study of Higher and Post-Secondary Education, as a Rackham Merit Fellowship recipient.

Morgan graduated from United Way of Central Ohio’s Project Diversity Pride Leadership (PDPL) program, an inclusive nonprofit board development program designed to create impactful, diverse leaders from Central Ohio’s racial minority and LGBTQ+ communities.

Now, Morgan sits on United Way’s Board of Trustees as a PDPL Fellow, alongside Columbus leaders, committed to UWCO’s mission toward providing equitable resources and opportunities that help families thrive.

As a first-generation, low-income college graduate, Morgan is passionate about promoting cultural shifts within organizations that empower and uplift marginalized communities. Morgan enjoys mentoring her “little” with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio organization, spending time with loved ones, and running!
