Congratulations to the 2023 FARE HBCU Scholarship Award Recipients

The Financial Alliance for Racial Equity (FARE) launched its inaugural HBCU Scholarship Program in September 2023, and aims to assist students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in preparing for future careers in the financial services industry. The scholarship offers financial aid to cover the costs associated with the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam – a crucial initial step in launching a career in financial services.

Congratulations to the 2023 scholarship award recipients, each of whom has articulated compelling reasons for how success in the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam will pave the way for their future achievements. These recipients not only exemplify academic excellence but also embody the spirit of FARE’s mission to foster a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive financial services industry. Their stories underscore the tangible impact of the FARE HBCU Scholarship Program in empowering talented individuals to pursue and attain success in their financial services careers. Special thanks to our FARE Transform Elite members Franklin Templeton, Nationwide, and RBC Wealth Management for sponsoring this scholarship program!
