Position Summary: 

As part of the comprehensive services we offer, Fiduciary Trust Company provides unparalleled customized tax services to our clients. The Fiduciary Operations team analyzes and processes transactions by partnering with Fiduciary’s Tax Services Department and operates as tax diagnosticians, targeting weaknesses and comprising solutions for the most challenging of issues. This position is part of Fiduciary Operations and is responsible for the administrative tax aspects of cost records for clients, reporting to IRS or other tax authorities, maintaining policies and procedures, assisting with tax processing on Fiduciary’s trust accounting system, SWP, and other downstream applications like OneSource.

As an intern in the Fiduciary Trust Tax Operations team, you’ll be part of a dynamic group that provides unparalleled customized tax services to our clients. You’ll analyze and process transactions to find solutions for challenging issues. A Tax Operations Intern can expect to gain:

Knowledge on completing foreign tax reclaim applications.
Understanding of the IRS W-9/W-8 validation process.
Experience with State and Federal Withholding and Fillings process.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

Review Account setup and transaction details to verify withholding and reporting.
Clean-up historical account setup.
Reviewing and updating procedure documents
