Undergrad Intern – Franklin Templeton US Program Marketing

 

Location: The intern candidate must be able to commute into the San Mateo, CA, Rancho Cordova, CA, New York City, NY, or Baltimore, MD office each week.

 

Location: This position can be based in any of the following Franklin Templeton offices: Baltimore, Boston, New York City, Rancho Cordova or remote. Please note this internship will be on a hybrid basis, with 2 days a week in the office.

 

Position Summary: 

The Program Marketing Team is a vital part of the U.S. Marketing organization. We manage a variety of projects, communications, and digital experiences. Our key responsibilities include:

·       Collaborating with the technology team to enhance digital experiences and streamline workflows.

·       Communicating important changes in funds and strategies to ensure everyone is informed and aligned.

·       Driving the marketing efforts for the Personalized Resource Center to make sure it reaches and benefits our clients.

·       Collaborating closely with the Global Client Programs team to promote their programs by integrating them into U.S. marketing communications.

 

In this role, you’ll work closely with all members of the U.S. marketing team to drive initiatives, coordinate projects, and ensure that everyone is aligned with our strategic marketing goals. This experience will give you a comprehensive understanding of how different marketing functions work together and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our success.

A US Program Marketing Intern at Franklin Templeton can expect to learn:

·       Knowledge of internal Marketing processes

·       How AI is being integrated into marketing

·       Effective communication of fund or strategy changes to clients

·       An understanding of how to personalize the advisor’s experience

 

Key Responsibilities Can Include:

·       Fund and Operational Communications

o       Help update web pages, including sections like the Tax Center, Capital Gains, Fund Changes, Contact Us, Morningstar, and Sales Charge.

·       Internal Marketing Experience

o       Work with the technology team to improve and manage changes to the internal U.S. marketing digital experience, streamline workflows, and handle change management.

·       Personalized Resource Center

o       Assist in advancing different projects on the Personalized Resource Center (PRC) roadmap.

·       Support AI Tool Testing

o       Help test new AI tools to ensure they enhance our marketing efforts and improve client experiences.

Compensation Range: This is a full-time internship where students will work approximately 35-40 hours per week and earn competitive hourly pay of $26-30 USD per hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
