Federated Hermes, Inc., is seeking a Communications Specialist to join our Investor Communications Team located in Warrendale, Pennsylvania.
This position will research and compose communications, translating sometimes complex concepts into understandable explanations for intermediary clients, shareholders, and prospective investors, on the operations and management of Federated Hermes’ funds, products, and services.
What you can expect:
As a Communications Specialist, you will:
- Translate operational concepts and industry language into explanations understandable by intermediaries and investors, as well as assimilate legal requirements in all written client communication.
- Compose professional communications to clients, shareholders, and prospective investors maintaining corporate standards and style guidelines.
- Adhere to current department quality and turn-round standards.
- Review letters and communications to ensure consistency of message, style, formal, tone, and quality in communication.
- Work with personnel in the Client Contact Center and Relationship Management departments to research and analyze internal operational and technical problems, account errors, and account questions to provide comprehensive answers.
- Work with departments to compile required facts to explain changes in market/industry that impact the performance of Federated Hermes’ funds.
- Review and update standard letter library and enclosures annually
- Design new forms and update existing forms.
- Manage all service forms and applications and publish forms of the Federated Hermes external website.
- Manage SharePoint Contact Us and respond or coordinate responses.
- Develop relationships with internal departments and vendors to coordinate the completion of projects.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or related field required.
- 3 years of financial writing experience preferred.
- 1 year project management experience preferred.
- Ability to understand, articulate, and/or write about Federated Hermes’ products, services, and funds for all markets required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word required.
