Global Sales Consultant – Toronto, Canada

Federated Hermes, Inc. is seeking a Global Sales Consultant based in Toronto, Canada to call on financial advisors in the Wealth Management market.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• This position will be based in Canada and will pursue opportunities within the Wealth Management market.
• Conduct systematic sales calls on prospective clients and/or prospects to identify their investment strategy needs.
• Effectively communicate Federated Hermes’ investment philosophy, process, strategies and performance to prospective clients
• Position the firm’s investment solutions and management style utilizing a consultative sales process during group presentations, one-on-one presentations and industry/association conferences
• Coordinate team, agenda and materials necessary for all presentations
• Develop marketing strategies for existing clients to increase assets
• Provide management with written and oral feedback on discussions with clients and prospects
• Attend industry conferences and meet with clients and prospects, as appropriate
• Coordinate internal support to further the sales process, i.e., Requests for Proposals, final presentations, customized sales and marketing materials, quarterly and annual client reviews, etc.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor degree in business related field required; CFA, CFP and/or Master degree a plus
• Minimum 1 year of financial services sales experience required
• Experience with financial institutions, broker dealer firms, wealth management offices, family offices and financial advisors to include comprehensive knowledge of relevant financial products.
• Knowledge of financial markets including investment and sales processes required
• Knowledge of Federated Hermes’ and competitor’s financial products required
• Fluency in French a plus
• Must possess or immediately obtain FINRA S7 and S66 (or equivalent)

HOURS/LOCATION: 

• 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (overtime as required)
• Must be open to irregular hours, remote supervision and heavy travel
• Toronto, Canada based
• Territory includes: All Canadian provinces.
