Project Manager – Product Development

Federated Hermes, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager, Product Development at our Pittsburgh headquarters. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing projects for specific funds/group of funds, as well as corporate level projects and providing support to product management initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead a multifunctional team for the implementation of approved projects including setting the project timeline, holding meetings to identify milestones and issues, and keeping stakeholders informed as project progresses.
- Serve as the central point of contact for all internal and third-party participants/ team members.
- Resolve all issues that arise during assigned projects and keep management informed of the resolution.
- Create and maintain project communication documents for project implementation.
- Maintain checklists and job aids necessary for new fund/share class implementation, fund mergers, fund liquidations, fund proxies, and asset acquisitions.
- Conduct/Coordinate primary and secondary research for use in design and implementation.
- Review industry trends and media coverage and communicate events and their implications to management.
The Expertise We are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of financial services experience required; project management or market research experience in financial services preferred.
- Knowledge of 1940 Act mutual fund structure required; mutual fund marketing knowledge and offshore and alternative products preferred.
