Black History Month: Thasunda Duckett

We’ve talked about past pillars of the Black financial industry (see last week’s posts), but now let’s talk about the movers and shakers of today!

These leaders are transforming how we think about personal finance and building wealth.

For example, Thasunda Duckett. As president and CEO of TIAA, she leads the charge of securing retirements and providing investment solutions for industries like higher education and healthcare.

Before making history at TIAA, Thasunda served as the CEO of Chase Consumer Banking, the largest bank in the US. She’s widely celebrated for her commitment to promoting financial education and building pathways for economic opportunities.
