Our Offshore Internal Sales team partners with external wholesalers and market leaders to grow Franklin Templeton’s presence across the U.S. offshore and Iberia markets. We support private banks, family offices, and wealth managers with timely market insights, proactive outreach, and end-to-end sales service—from pipeline development and campaign execution to portfolio review preparation and post-meeting follow-ups. Working closely with marketing, product, operations, and our investment teams, we translate our mutual fund, SMA, ETF, and alternatives capabilities into clear, actionable solutions that help clients grow their businesses and deliver better outcomes for investors.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of an Internal Wholesaler – Offshore?
You will support wholesale clients with pre- and post-sales service.
- Advise clients on how Franklin Templeton’s investment capabilities can grow their business and meet their needs.
- Follow up on meetings and develop early-stage leads.
- Prepare materials for portfolio reviews and service meetings.
- Manage sales and client data, including activity notes.
- Attend or host client meetings.
- Present market outlook and strategies to clients and prospective clients (primarily over the phone but also in person).
- Respond to clients’ queries promptly and professionally.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Support product campaigns and sales initiatives.
- Build and update account plans and growth strategies.
- Track client news and adjust engagement plans accordingly.
- Apply knowledge of Franklin Templeton investment philosophies, processes, strategies, and products to increase market share within the territory and achieve sales targets.
Team & Collaboration
- Partner with market leaders and the Sales Support team in Miami and across the Iberia/U.S. offshore region.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, operations, and investment portfolio teams to ensure seamless client service and alignment across the business.
What ideal qualifications would help someone to be successful?
- Typically 2–4 years of related sales experience or experience in the wealth management industry.
- Series 7 and 63 licenses desired.
- Enthusiastic about economics and markets, with a strong desire to learn about investments and how to address the needs of private wealth clients.
- Experience working with investment vehicles and strategies such as mutual funds, SMAs, ETFs, and alternatives.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexible and client-focused approach.

There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the salary for this position to be USD $75,000-$85,000 plus discretionary bonus.
