Federated Hermes, Inc., one of the nation’s largest investment managers with over $839.8 Billion assets under management has an exciting opportunity for an attorney to join our Legal team in our Pittsburgh office.

The Corporate Counsel provides day-to-day legal representative in support of investment management business unit, investment management operations business unit, and product development business unit with regard to advisory products and accounts, and business units with respect to fund/account portfolio transactions, and other fund/account and investment management matters.

 

What you need:

  • Juris doctorate and admittance to practice law in the United States required (preferably Pennsylvania).
  • Minimum of 3 years of legal experience with Investment Management Firm or Law Firm working with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Investment Company Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933, and/or Securities Exchange Act of 1940 or related legal or compliance experience required.
  • Five years of experience with investment management issues under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, including regarding investment management agreement review and negotiation, institutional separate accounts, and/or separately managed accounts at an Investment Management Firm or within an investment management practice group at a law firm preferred.

 

This position will be positioned in of either our Pittsburgh, PA 15222 office or our Warrendale, PA 15086 office. Federated Hermes offers a hybrid work schedule (in-office/remote).
