COLUMBUS, OHIO, July 9, 2024—The BLX Internship Program joined the Financial Alliance for Racial Equity (FARE) as an industry association. This partnership highlights FARE’s and BLX’s mutual dedication to promoting racial diversity, equity, and inclusion within the financial services industry.
The BLX Internship Program was established in the fall of 2020 to provide aspiring Black and Latinx financial planners with opportunities to intern at fee-only or fee-based financial planning firms.
Like FARE, the BLX Internship Program strives to create a more inclusive financial industry that mirrors the diversity of the broader population. The BLX Internship Program has successfully connected numerous firms with quality interns who have gone on to thrive as professionals in the financial planning field.

The BLX Internship Program will enhance FARE’s ability to provide comprehensive support and resources to systemically excluded communities. Their collaboration will ensure that the next wave of financial planners is a more diverse representation of the communities they serve.
